Yes. All Dermo Direct consultations are provided by Australian specialist dermatologists who are Fellows of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Our team is experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin, hair and nail conditions through teledermatology.
Yes. During the booking process, you can select your preferred dermatologist based on availability. You can also choose to see the same dermatologist for follow-up consultations where available.

Yes. Our dermatologists consult with both adults and children for a variety of skin conditions. A parent or legal guardian must attend the consultation for patients under 16 years of age.
While many skin conditions can be assessed online, some conditions require a physical examination or procedure. If an in-person consultation is more appropriate, your dermatologist will explain this and recommend the next steps.
Specialist dermatologists have advanced training in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the skin, hair and nails. While many skin conditions can initially be assessed by a GP, a dermatologist can provide expert diagnosis, recommend specialised treatments, prescribe dermatologist-only medicines where clinically appropriate, and manage complex or persistent skin conditions.
